We’re delighted to confirm that Elizabeth Stratton, who taught Spanish at St. Lawrence College and at the Upper Canada District School Board for many years, will be offering a conversational Spanish language course at the Shepherd’s Welcome Centre this fall.
Elizabeth will be following in the footsteps of Owen Rivera, who faithfully taught Spanish to SWC participants for many years before she retired in 2011.
Elizabeth’s class, Conversational Spanish Part I, is an introductory Spanish course which emphasizes speaking and listening comprehension. Some reading and writing may be done to reinforce oral communications skills. This course promises to be a fun, informal, interactive introduction to “survival” Spanish.
The class will be held on Tuesdays from 10:00 to 11:30 in the Heritage Hall at Wall Street United Church.
Elizabeth will be available for consultation and to take class registrations at our September 10th Open House.
