African Drum For Fun

If you want to give drumming a try, this is the place to start.  Learning to play this wonderful instrument is easy and a lot of fun.

Regular attendance is necessary in this skill-based class.  This fall session will be a pre-requisite for the January semester.

This class will be a mix of beginners and returning drummers who want to try some new songs and rhythms.  West African drumming developed over the centuries to celebrate and inspire.

We enjoy the rhythms and laugh a lot.  When participants were asked for input for this description, all agreed on “fun loving nature required”.

Please bring your own djembe drum.
